Hello there... I'm Lisa. I'm a stay at home mummy to Bubby - my darling precious newborn who arrived in my life on May 16 2012 after one of the hardest days of my life! He is all things light and beautiful to me.

I'm happily married to Hubby since 9 January 2010. We've been together since I was only 18 and I honestly believe that he is my great love. Every day I wonder how I got so lucky to have a man like him love someone like me. We have a lovely home together that I'm desperately trying to get inspired to decorate it in the way that I'll enjoy.

We have a black tabby called Golly (named after my father). Golly is only 18 months old but looks and acts as if he is an ancient old cat. He is very big but sometimes forgets which is why we are regulars at our local vet. He is very clumsy and has a sensitive little heart of gold.

I bake a lot and could talk about recipes for months on end. I love discovering new recipes and having new inspiration for how to do things. I am always planning our meals to be both healthy and cheap (not always very easy to achieve). Poor Hubby has gained some weight since marrying me!

I have a secret addiction to trashy reality television and I love dreaming of travelling. I love anything with a feminine edge and now that I live with 3 boys I think its becoming worse! I'm all about making new connections and friendships and hopefully there are other people out there who have something in common!
